These murals were made by students in the Everyday Leaders after school activity class at Jefferson
Community School. The students in grades 3-5 worked hard to come up with ideas for the project over many months. They wanted to make their community more beautiful. They wrote stories about freedom, friends and nature and got inspiration from books, the internet and sketches. The murals are about the students view of community through, nature, happiness, the earth, friends, freedom, life, birth, America, peace and global warming.
