These are cast bronze sculptures taken from a clay carving that I did from a live model. I made a rubber mold from the clay carving and used the same mold to make wax sculptures that were then cast into bronze using a lost wax process. I was thinking about alterations of the body, mentally, physically and spiritually and represented that through making castings from the same mold that are very much not the same.
